The wood requires special care. 

• Hand-wash with only mild soap and water. 
• Don't let the bowl soak. 
• Dry right away with a soft cloth. 
• Never air-dry the bowls or put them into the refrigerator or dishwasher. 
• Store your bowl in a spot with good air circulation away from direct sunlight, heaters, and the oven, as extreme temperatures, humidity, and dry air can cause the wood to crack.
• Occasionally, rub with mineral oil to maintain the finish.
